danny zhilkin
Danny is in his fourth season with the Guelph Storm in the Ontario Hockey League. After being drafted in the 3rd round of the 2022 NHL Draft to the Winnipeg Jets, Danny hopes to make the jump to pro hockey next season.
In 2019 Danny captured a Silver Medal with Team Ontario in the Canada Winter Games, as well as a Gold Medal in 2021 with U18 Team Canada.
He is attending Seneca College, where he is pursuing a diploma in a Fitness and Health promotion.
Lauren Shoss
Lauren is in her second and final year of Boston University’s EdM in Counselling and Sport Psychology program. She graduated from McMaster University’s Health Sciences program in 2021, Summa Cum Laude. As part of her Master’s program, Lauren has acted as the sports psychology intern for various DI and DIII NCAA teams across various sport domains, and was recently selected to be a member of the 2022-23 Boston University Sports Psychology team; a team of advanced Master’s and Doctoral students who provide sports psychology services to BU’s Division 1 athletes and teams.
She is a student member with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), and a research assistant in Boston University’s Center for Future Readiness. Her passion for athlete mental health and sport psychology has been heavily influenced by her experiences as a competitive dancer and her experiences in the hockey community.
